Eastern US Mountain Relay 1

Kadar's team won 2nd place, as well as earning the title of Judge's Favorite due to Kadar's extensive endurance experience.

This is the first in a series of entries for Faridoon Stables' 1st Eastern US Mountain Relay, a long distance cross country relay race, split between three horses. And when I say long, I mean 3000 miles along the Appalachian Trail, starting in Georgia and ending in Canada (seven months later)! The closing date is November 30th, 2011.

My teammates are ~AngelFallsStables with A.F. Dark Fate of Eris, and *Ixtiramm with AvS Publius Ovidius Naso, and our team colour is red.

No references were used, except on the raccoons. I looked at a bunch of pictures of the Appalachian Trail and then drew the background from memory/imagination.
